Our intraoral camera will show close-up photos of your teeth and gums, as well. Dr. Tabor will search for signs of oral cancer with our VELscope light, and he may request new digital X-rays.
After your exam, Dr. Tabor will talk with you about his findings and recommendations. He will explain your options so that you can make informed dental care decisions. If you need further explanation about a procedure, we may show you a short CAESY patient education video. Should you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask! Our hygienist will carefully clean your teeth, concentrating on hardened plaque at the gum line and between teeth. If we find that gum disease is a concern, we'll discuss a deep cleaning and/or altering your homecare routine.
